Very quick response and clean, very clear core of sunrise 🤩, and it is the center place for all the visiting areas in the kanyakumari, all the vivekannada Rick memorial, sunrise point, triveni sangamam, Gandhi memorial all are these places are walk by distance only

First of all it is a caution to single travelers that by law hotels are not supposed to accommodate single occupants. I am not sure if this rule holds good for other predominately tourist cities / towns. However, the staff put me in a single room after verifying my presence through my wife. It was a good gesture on their part. But what followed was not pleasant. Only upon insisting a dozen times, I was provided with drinking water, bath soap & towel. The light on top of the mirror in the bathroom did not function. Till I left, it never functioned. So were the shower that lacked the perforated funnel & the TV. Though I stayed for three days, not once was the bed done & trash removed.

It would be better if I just list the pros and cons. Here goes: Pros: 1. Accommodative staff - I booked through Red Bus and opted for early check in. The communication didn’t reach the hotel but still they allowed a smooth check in and they accepted after they received communication from Red Bus. They even allowed extension for a few hours for a small fee. 2. Fantastic sea view - one can enjoy the view of Thiruvalluvar statue and Vivekananda Rock from the bed. 3. Decent food - they serve food in room from The Curry restaurant which has both veg and non veg options. The items we tasted were good. If you want some specific items from somewhere else they said they can get you- I haven’t tried it though. 4. Transport tie up - fixed us up with a suitable cab operator who gave a very good service. Cons: 1. Cleanliness of the room- could be improved a lot. Stink that reminds us of entry level lodge should be taken care of. AC could have done better with a service. 2. Toiletries- shampoo was not available and it would be better if enough towels and other toiletries are made available in the room without asking for it. As I said, overall it was good for my requirements.

The hotels has rooms with an awesome view from the bedside. We can see thiruvallur statue! The service was good and rooms were very comfortable. It was indeed in the core from all the tourist spots! Lots of food variety was also available very near the hotel!

The most unfriendly people of India

We were at this hotel and we discovered the most unfriendly people of India in this hotel. The food that was served to us were with cooked with aunts in each dish. When we showed the aunts to the staff and as per them it is just normal to remove the aunts and eat it. When we requested to change the dishes they just refused to do. When we ordered new dishes they were with aunts too. We spoke to the owner and it just didn't bother him to see customer were served food with aunts which was a shock to me. We were charged full amount for the meals with aunts which to me is not a correct at all. Try to avoid this place for not upsetting yourself and if you still go to this place make sure your food is hygiene in all respect.
